Fees and Insurance
I am In-Network With the Following Insurance Companies:
United Healthcare/Optum (Florida and North Carolina)
Oxford (Florida and North Carolina)
Oscar Health (Florida and North Carolina)
Aetna (Florida and North Carolina)
Cigna (Florida and North Carolina)
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts
Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey
I am no longer in-network with Florida Blue but many of my clients submit out of network paperwork and get reimbursed for some or part of the fee they pay for sessions.
For any out of network insurances, I will provide a "Super Bill"
that can be used to submit for reimbursement for your sessions.
Your benefits will be verified prior to your first session.
Your plan may have a deductible, co-pay, and/or coinsurance
that you are responsible for.
A credit card will be kept on file, in a secure program,
to charge all session fees.
* You are not required to use insurance for your treatment.
You have the right to opt out and pay privately, if you desire.
Your insurance may not cover all services. You are required to
meet criteria for a diagnosis to qualify for insurance payment.
Private Pay
Private pay rates vary depending on the service and length.
55 Minute Individual Session: $130
55 Minute Couples Session: $150
85 Minute Individual Session: $195
85 Minute Couples Session: $$225
All fees will be discussed prior to your first session
and will be clearly outlined in your consent paperwork.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
